Navigating the complexities of supporting children and young people in schools can be immensely challenging for teachers. At BBE, we recognise the dedication and positive intentions of educators in providing inclusive education. However, our research has highlighted a gap which leaves many teachers feeling ill-equipped to address the diverse needs of all their pupils.
Our mission is to empower teachers to enhance their understanding, awareness, skills, and confidence in supporting learners and their families with neuro differences.
We believe that by providing educators with the necessary tools and support, we can amplify their effectiveness and positively impact student outcomes.
Through our support services, we aim to increase teacher self-efficacy, leading to improved academic outcomes and enhanced well-being for all learners. At BBE, we're committed to partnering with educators in their journey towards creating inclusive, supportive, and enriching learning environments for every student.
We provide a streamlined Team Around the Child Service for students with learning differences. For international families we can act as a single point of contact to support students throughout the academic year, facilitating communication between schools and families. Our experienced team manages difficult conversations with families, ensuring practical solutions are reached. We attend parent/teacher meetings, monitor progress, and arrange termly reviews to ensure your student's needs are met. Regular reports are provided to families and agents, addressing any challenges and ensuring the student's overall well-being is monitored and supported.
Engage in individual sessions or group discussions with our team, where you can confidentially share the challenges you face in the classroom. Receive tailored advice and practical strategies on how to navigate these challenges and take proactive steps forward.
Benefit from ongoing, collaborative, and solution-focused coaching and mentoring sessions focused on inclusive education. Our approach is non-judgemental, gentle and nurturing and aims to empower educators in effectively working with children and young people with neuro differences, fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment.
Access comprehensive professional training programs that equip educators with the knowledge, skills, and strategies necessary to support neurodiverse children/young people and their families. We will tailor a training programme for the specific needs of your school. We can work with SENCos, Teaching Assistants, Year and Subject Leaders and Classroom Teachers. We always tailor the training to start from where your team is and within your school's constraints. We know that good training is on-going so we also offer a review and follow up 3 months after the training. This is an opportunity to see how the new approaches are working and seek additional support if needed.
